Learnings from the Trail for Leaders
Lessons learned hiking the 2200 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia are remarkable; unbelievable actually. These lessons apply to leadership, supporting employee engagement and building stronger, happier teams. Learn how was I able to keep up with our uber-athlete/Ironman/more marathons than she remember daughter, while carrying a backpack and sleeping in a tent for 5.5 months while raising almost $100k for Parkinson's Disease research and how these lessons help leaders survive the rapid changes in business today.
You will learn how:
TOOLS - how important it is to select, and test, the right tools for the task
TRAINING - how tools are challenging/frustrating without the right training for the right users
TEAM - how all else is relatively worthless without the right team
Speaker Bio: A veteran marketing and sales executive, Susan learned her craft and entrepreneurial spirit during 15 years at Apple, at 2 other global companies, while consulting and supporting her logistics clients.
Susan also develops strategies and processes to challenge and support business leaders with lessons learned on her 2200 mile Appalachian Trail thru-hike, while raising almost $100,000 for Parkinsons Disease research.
