Twin Cities Film Fest is a 501c3 Non profit with the mission to build, support and enhance our visual arts community through providing local film artists with education, training, networking, and distribution and employment opportunities; provide art enthusiasts and advocates with access to regional and national film talent forging a rich social dialogue through film; and provide the state with a vehicle through which film production and exhibition can sustain the local film industry.
We celebrate film/movies with a first class annual 11 day festival in October with Red Carpet Premiere of 120+ films for well over 15,000 attendees at the ICON Theaters at The Shops at West End in St. Louis Park. Celebrities, VIPs, Independent Filmmakers from across the United States and media coverage exceeding 25 Million annually awaits anyone that visits TCFF! With a year-around program incorporating 1-2 events per month, TCFF has visibility and brand recognition/loyalty all across industry sectors and audience demographics.
We believe in the revival of film art for mainstream audiences. TCFF is the gateway for movie lovers into the deep well of American Independent Cinema from across the country. The original film-art we showcase starkly contrasts the increasingly formulaic blockbuster that falls flat with sophisticated audiences.
We believe in the Minnesota Film Artist. The high caliber film talent found in Minnesota deserves a nationally visible platform. TCFF is dedicated to the cultivation of local filmmakers by providing educational resources to expand skill sets, networking with the national film industry, and nurturing distribution opportunities.
We believe in changing the world through film. No medium provokes discussion and evokes empathy more than film. TCFF programming is replete with diverse voices that challenge the status quo and shift perceptions. Socially responsible programming pushes our audience to make an individual difference in their community and positively shape society.
