About Me

We are a family-owned business in the growing town of Madelia, built on a passion for community and connection. By day, I’m a real estate agent; by night, I run our cocktail lounge, Embars; and once a month, I proudly serve as a Lieutenant in the National Guard. Life is busy, but supporting others and adding value is always my priority. With my diverse experience, I’ve learned how to bring people together, create meaningful experiences, and find solutions in unexpected ways.

For this group, my focus is on Embars, our elevated cocktail lounge, where we create an inviting space for people to gather, celebrate, and connect over handcrafted drinks and great company!

Since opening in June 2024, our goal has been to make Embars a true hub in Madelia—a place where people gather, celebrate, and connect. Our name is inspired by the devastating fire that once swept through downtown, a turning point that the city used to rebuild and move forward—an inspiring reminder of resilience and perseverance.

We take pride in crafting the best handcrafted cocktails in the area, hosting unique public events, and providing an elevated space for private gatherings. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to refining our craft and creating unforgettable experiences for our community.

Who I want to meet...

I’m looking to connect with wedding and event vendors as we explore expanding into off-site service and would love insight from those with experience in large-scale events. I’m also eager to network with other bar owners, as we share unique challenges and experiences—there’s so much we can learn from each other to grow and refine our businesses.
