My experience in real estate began in 2015, shortly after graduating from college. My parents flew in from my home state of Montana to celebrate, and we chose a favorite St. Paul spot, The Strip Club Meat & Fish, for dinner. If you're unfamiliar, I know that sounds like a questionable choice, but it was actually one of the best steak and seafood restaurants in Dayton's Bluff. (May it rest in peace.)
After our first round of cocktails arrived, my dad asked if I planned to stay in Minnesota or move back to Montana. When I told him I liked my job and wanted to see where it led, he didn't hesitate. He told me I was done renting and that he'd help me buy my first home—because, as he put it, "you're either paying your own mortgage or someone else's." That moment changed everything for me.
Over the years, I've enthusiastically (and sometimes a little persistently) encouraged friends and clients alike to take that first step into homeownership. With the right guidance, it's far more achievable than most people think. Many clients come to me feeling too young, too broke, or totally lost on where to start. My job is to meet you there and connect the dots. Once you have the most talented contacts in every category and you understand the process from start to finish, everything starts clicking. Your first home may be the hardest to get into, but it's always the one that opens the most doors financially.
That belief is what drives my work in real estate. I see firsthand how generational wealth is built through education, thoughtful decision-making, and access to the right information at the right time. I strive to be that steady, informed resource for my clients—whether they're buying their first home, moving up, or investing—because I understand the freedom and long-term impact that well-guided real estate choices can create.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me volunteering with my favorite dog rescue, spending far too much time weeding my vegetable garden (which somehow still looks mediocre), caring for my chickens, or catching up with friends at one of my favorite Twin Cities restaurants.
